VIR Electric Inc. (https://www.virelectric.ca/) is the international sales and marketing subsidiary of Qingdao CCS VFD Motor Company Limited (www.ccs-motor.com). We manufacture large capacity 350 kW-1.5 MW (500-2000 Horsepower) smart electric motors with integrated Variable Frequency Drives for the mining, oil & gas industries and other heavy industries. We are expanding internationally, with a priority focus on North American market opportunities.

 

To win sales of the advanced technologies products manufactured by CCS VFD Motor Company Limited, this person will develop business networks and promote our products directly to executive and technical decision-makers in the Engineering Procurement and Contract Management; specialist consulting; manufacturing; and extractive (mining, oil & gas, forest products) industries. This position would report to the Vice President and work closely with our sales & marketing, and manufacturing operations executives in CCS VFD in Qingdao.

 

• a good networker and communicator, capable of functioning independently and working happily in a small team;

• detailed knowledge of business practices (ideally in project procurement), and mechanical processes and propulsion technology used in the extractive and materials handling industries;

• active sales and marketing networks in the manufacturing; mining, oil & gas and other extractive services industries;

• ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business purposes; • spoken and written Mandarin Chinese; and

• right or authorization to work in Canada.

 

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Applied Science, ideally with a specialization in electric motors, project management or materials handling.
