Looking for after school tutor

Job summary:

A full-time tutoring position is coming available in our Richmond location. The position will have 20 to 25 lessons per week. You might be the right candidate, if you can teach:

Subjects:

SAT I

SAT II math/physics/biology/chemistry

Science 8-10

Math 8-12

Calculus

Physics 11-12

Chemistry 11-12

Biology 11-12

AP/IB level

Requirements:

• Preferably with 1 year teaching experience.
• Candidates must be very familiar with BC education system.
• Undergraduate Degree and/or a Master's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, social studies, education or related fields; university students will also be considered based on qualifications and tutoring experience
• Must be able to use English or Mandarin fluently
• Must be responsible and have great passion in teaching
• Work cooperatively with professionalism

-preparing active, engaging, effective lessons

-conducting one-hour lessons

-briefly discussing lesson content and progress with parents after each lesson

-typing brief summaries of lessons after each lesson

-writing monthly progress reports

The hourly rate is based on the subject, teacher's qualifications, and the size of the class. Extra bonus will be considered for outstanding tutors.
