Responsibilities and Duties
- Work efficiently and communicate in time with the consultant
- Scheduling appointments with students and parents
- Assisting the consultant to collect students’ information and keep students’ documents up to date
- Participating in consulting meetings and writing meeting notes. Sending meeting notes to students and parents promptly after the meeting
- Executing and following up with students about the detailed academic plan made by the consultant to ensure that students can follow the plan
- Following up with students’ at-school grades, learning progress, attendance, teachers’ feedback, etc.,
- Helping parents to book appointments with school teachers to know more detailed information about students' study
- Bringing students and parents to school visits, accompanying them for school meetings and interviews
- Helping students the registrations for any programs if they have any questions including online courses, summer school course registration, etc.,
- Communicating with students and parents when it comes to any problems in a timely manner
- According to the needs of students and parents, as well as the after-school tutoring arranged by the consultant at Beeta, doing class scheduling and giving out invoices on time. Ensuring that students pay the tuition before the classes start and students are given reminders and notifications before each class
- Notifying the Course Coordinator as soon as possible when every time a student is absent, adjusts the class timetable, or cancels a class to ensure the teacher can receive the notification in the first place
- Checking students’ attendance and working with other consultant assistants to make sure there are staff stay at the office where students and parents could ask for help
- Giving students class feedback and talking to parents if needed
- Following up on the progress of students' extracurricular activities including registration, responsibilities, attendance, any encountered problems, etc.
- Translating documents between English and Chinese if needed
- Promoting extra-curricular activities including clubs, charity events, nonprofit organizations volunteering opportunities, etc in the database
- Researching the latest academic information and sharing with students and parents, including standard test adjustments, university application requirements change, academic research opportunities, etc.,
- Performing other related duties as directed by the consultant
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred background in Education area or working experience in a related industry)
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Sense of targeting the potential clients
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Honest, reliable, and loyal
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
- Willingness to provide a criminal record check
