关于R34进口到加拿大的问题！！！ 

问问各位现在R34是肯定不可能进的了加拿大的是么？还是说想进来也行就是得交高额的税？

07年时候就能进了，ak当时不就进了那台灰的，全部下来算上车钱173000 CAD. 有钱就可以。

这么贵的原因是不是主要是手续和说？

沒辦法上牌阿... 不能開上路, 只能當裝飾!!!

那就没用了。。。

目前看到過上正牌的R33, 在過幾年R34也可以合法上路了!!!

the biggest reason why u cant import a GTR34 and make it street legal is that Nissan only made them RHD, and under federal standards/D.O.T. u cant register a RHD for street use unless they're over 15-yr-old, not to mention there're a lot of safety standards that the R34 doesn't meet. But there are a few ways to go around it, and there are only 2 registered in BC that i heard of, and they're not for street use. ( by the way i worked for soundworks in 07, next to AK. and they never import a R34, but there is a fake R34 in grey color which is actually a R32 if u look into the interior.) 1. import a complete car as "show or display" thru D.O.T., not street legal 2. import a complete car as "race only" thru D.O.T., that's how the two GTR34 registered in BC, of course not street legal 3. chop one up, then import it as parts, reassemble it locally and register it as a "kit car", street legal but limited coverage and usage. 4. if u work/live and own a car in a foreign country for longer then a yr, u can import that car when u return to Canada,     *this is once-in-a-life-time, meaning u can only import 1 car thru this way under ur identity. (i guess this applies to immigrant too) FYI: there is a company called MOTOREX in US that imported a few skyline and spent the time to R&D parts for R34 so it could pass all safety tests in US, and they're the only company that imports R34 to US..... and they ran outta bussiness. [url=/club/job.php?action=topost&tid=251257&pid=5908605][img]/club/p_w_picpath/back.gif[/img][/url] [/quote] something is very wrong here. first, theres another way to make a RHD street legal.  but since it involves lots of legal info im not gonna stat it here. but there are few company that knows how it works(ie weissach), VERY PRICEY but works.  believe or not.  but just like whatthe said, the law changed already, recently too. second, AK AUTO works DID ALL the import work and modifications to make the R34 legal, its not fake, its orignal 2002 R34 GTR M-spec with Ztune bodykit and only has less than 3000kms on it. I test drove that car MYSELF, and i have been in auto industry for more than 8 years, so i dont think i cant recognize a real r34, serioursly.  AK sold the car to a asian guy and few months later, the guy sold the car to weissach(i thought everyone knows this). now the car belongs to a kid. still street legal. you used to work next to AK, but i used to work for AK(at that specific time too), also i know Andy for more than 8 years, so keep the rumors to yourself. the other 3 ways you posted are right. no doubt here.

dun for get toyo-tires "track only" R34 GTS-T hahaha.... lol... anyways, there is 2 R32.4 conversions in vancouver, search up on revscene's memebers' journals for one fo the builds, you can tell by the C-pillars... if its authentic R34 or not.... and come on..for 170,000 you better get a REAL R34 =.= hahaha just sayin... hehe..

thz for the correction, bluelude, it's cool if AK could import and make a R34 street legal, do u know more details of the process? and for 170k, that's like the price for a well modded R35? and for the 8th floor, i heard of that way from an imported, and he used to work in ICBC, but i am not sure about the details, i guess if ur frd immigrate here to canada, she maybe able to import the car along with her as a personal belonging.

[url=/club/job.php?action=topost&tid=251257&pid=5913235][img]/club/p_w_picpath/back.gif[/img][/url] [/quote] np, no offence here too :D. for the details, its just TOO LONG to list, AK spent over 8 months for just get the HEADLIGHTS approved by DOT department and spent over 15k on just headlights(most for "fees" from DOT). so give it a guess. yes the cost of the car was $45k CAD, and to make it legal AK spent another $85k~$95k, i cant remember the detail. and sold the car for around $140k, its been a long time lol. yes its way pricy for that damn car, but its unquie. is it worth it? hell no, plus R34 it no where near the R35 at all. its old and outdated, at least for me.

在这里上牌的那个R34的title是you build,意思是你买个车架，其他的零件你自己买，自己装。但我可以跟你说他的R34由内到外都是原装的。没有用过任何其他GTR的配件，包括车架。当然，他改装的除外，细节就不说了。这些事情你知道少点好！我可以跟你说他为了做加拿大唯一能上牌的R34，他用了$140k....

bluelude, i actually bumped into Kelvin at BJ autohaus yesterday, and he confirmed the R34. i was gonna asked for more details but he said only Andy knows the details.... i guess it's like a trade secret, lol. but it's cool to see one in town.
