Beginning on Tuesday, March 8, no same day service will be available in the Seattle visa office for in-person applications for visa, study permit or work permit. Mail-in application procedures have not been changed.
If you apply for a TRV in person in the Seattle office, it will take a minimum of 24 hours to process. You may stay in Seattle until you receive your visa. If you apply for an initial study permit or work permit in person, the minimum processing time will be 5 business days.
Passports will not be returned to applicants until the processing is completed. Applicants will be told when to return to the office to pick up their passport and visa. Anyone who cannot leave his/her passport with the Seattle office will need to apply by mail. The minimum processing time for mail-in applications is 4 weeks, which hasn't been changed.
Students with an upcoming travel plan should be aware that they may also apply for their visas in the region where they will be traveling. You can find the visa office at the following website:

从本周二期，西雅图面签的申请过程有所变化， Visa的话至少要24小时才能取件，学生签证和工作签证的话至少要5个工作日。
在这期间，护照会被扣留在签证处，办完才返回。
邮递签证的时间没有变化，依然是四周左右。
