Manual 11 ft. W x 9 ft. D Retractable Slope Patio Awning

we bought this Awning three months ago from WAYFAIR website.  when i open the box and try to install it, i found that the minimum installation height from floor to ceiling should be 11 feet. but my house ceiling is 8 feet. it could not be installed in my patio. when i return it, but it passes the returning period with 1 month returning policy.  if somebody is interested to it, please contact with me.
