We are looking for a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to come and join our team in Burnaby. You should have expose or experience repairing Aerial equipment, excavators, Compaction ! This position is Monday to Friday.

Here is what we need from you to get rolling!

Responsibilities:

• Perform various types of maintenance on heavy equipment, construction equipment and various pieces of machinery at various job sites
• Repair assorted heavy equipment as required to ensure proper operating condition at the job site
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and propane systems
• Recondition and replace assorted parts of the heavy equipment
• Must be able to operate and test equipment such as boom lifts, forklifts, compressors, portable and stationary generators, hydraulics, pumps and assorted tools and equipment
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and repair logs
• Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Heavy Duty Mechanic, Certified Red Seal Mechanic a strong asset
• Must have at least 2 year hands on experience of Aerial Platform Equipment, Generator, pumps, diesel engine equipment background preferred
• Ability to work constructively under pressure
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrates initiative and strong organizational skills
• Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a professional customer service focused attitude
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record, Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License a strong asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $38.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
